I had a great time last weekend taking pictures of the “River Runner 100″ sled dog race in the Yukon. Congratulations to all the mushers for finishing the race! Dog sledding in Ibex Valley (Yukon) this sunday by -5°C with a beautiful sunshine!
The Yukon Quest 2010 started last Saturday at 11:00 AM in Fairbanks (Alaska) with 24 teams. Late in the afternoon, mushers arrived at the first checkpoint (Two Rivers Checkpoint) where some of them chose to stay a couple of hours giving a rest to their dogs. The sky was very cloudy that day but cleared up in the evening offering an amazing sunset.
