The Arctic ground squirrel (Urocitellus parryii) or “siksik” (the Inuit name), is one of the largest species of ground squirrels. Siksiks live in large colonies across the mainland Arctic tundra and in open habitats of the Subarctic boreal forest.

    good photos , we dont have that type of animal in our country, squirels are the nearest. nice photos though well done.
