Shetland Islands
Fullscreen Slideshow
Composed of over one hundred islands, the Shetland Islands are an archipelago off the Scottish north east coast. That's a place of great interest to the naturalist and anyone who is keen to see wild animals and birds in their native habitat. The landscape is very rugged and characterized by the absence of trees. The islands are home to a variety of sea creatures including whales, otters, seals and several bird colonies.
